SNUG's annual meeting took place at the Stirling Court Hotel on the 6th-7th August 2024. We welcomed 33 delegates from 5 Scottish Universities and Industry partners for two days of scientific exchange and social program across all areas of NMR research. The meeting's program is available below. On Day 1 we had talks on bioNMR, tutorial on grant winning and career and research flash talks from poster presenters followed by poster session. On the Day 2 the morning session focused on reaction monitoring, presentation on Future-Proofing Scotch Whisky and tips & tricks tutorials. The afternoon of Day 2 was dedicated to “The Spectrometer is not a black box!” tutorial and solid-state NMR presentation. There was time in the programme for networking with industrial partners and social time or a walk up to the Wallace monument.
Slides for some of the presentations are available here.
Special thanks to Olga Semenova and David Ellis for organising this great meeting! SNUG was made possible through generous support by the Scottish High Field Centre, a SULSA Network Support award obtained by Kevin Haubrich and Mark Nakasone and our industry sponsors:
